Biography

Brenda Tyczkowski, RN, DNP, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay (UWGB). She is the Academic Director of the Health Information Management Technology (HIMT) program for the UWGB site. As a registered nurse, her career has spanned healthcare, leadership, and information technology. She co-authored these recent publications: “An Interface Design Evaluation of Courses in a Nursing Program using an E-Learning Framework: A Case Study” (in Khan, User Interface Design for Virtual Environments: Challenges and Advances) and “Emotional Intelligence (EI) and Nursing Leadership Styles among Nurse Managers” (in Mauk, Gerontological Nursing: Competencies for Care).
